Allen’s story is Right at Home’s story.
Allen founded Right at Home in Omaha in 1995 after spending nearly a decade in hospital administration in both West Virginia and Nebraska. He’s a graduate of Marshall University, Tulane University’s M.B.A. program and the Executive Development Program of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
After founding Right at Home, Allen helped found the Home Care Association of America (formerly the National Private Duty Association) and served as its legislative chair and board member for eight years.
Brian Petranick is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Right at Home, Inc. Brian has more than 27 years of experience in healthcare, entrepreneurship and business development. Twenty-one of those years have been specifically on the business development of national home care and medical staffing systems. In the 14 years that Brian has been with Right at Home, he has been instrumental in leading the organization’s growth and development to an internationally recognized home care brand. From January 2007 to February 2014, he served as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer and has been its President since September 2010.
Brian was named Chief Executive Officer in April 2014. Prior to joining Right at Home, Brian worked for StarMed Medical Staffing, a national healthcare staffing company with headquarters in Clearwater, Florida; Kelly Healthcare Services, a national home care company based in Troy, Michigan; and Rural/Metro, an international medical transportation and fire protection company based in Arizona. Brian graduated from Creighton University’s EMS program, and has a B.S.B.A. from Bellevue University and an M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska. Brian has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Nebraska, teaching classes on entrepreneurship and business development.
Margaret joined Right at Home in 2011 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. In her role, she is responsible for day-to-day operations and enhancing the internal infrastructure in support of Right at Home’s strategic intent and continued growth. Prior to that, Margaret served for three years as Right at Home’s Senior Vice President of Support, focusing on developing and implementing the franchise support, organizational learning, compliance and quality strategies for the organization and franchise system. She has more than 20 years of experience in providing client support/consulting, working with clients to increase business growth and profitability, and driving business execution through process improvement and project execution.
Eric joined Right at Home in September 2008 as Senior Vice President of Franchise Development. He is responsible for leading Right at Home’s national growth efforts to find new, well-qualified franchisees who want to make a difference in their communities. He has more than a decade of franchising experience in a wide variety of industries, including business-to-business (B2B), retail and home services. He has been recognized by the International Franchise Association as a Certified Franchise Executive since 2005. He’s also a frequent guest speaker at franchise-related events. Eric is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in finance.
Tony came to Right at Home in September of 2010 for the role of International Support Specialist. He is responsible for building out the current systems and support tools used by the International Master Franchisees, and working with them to help expand their franchise network. Tony has previous global franchising experience in the home care industry, and over 18 years of international experience. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Omaha where he obtained his degree in International Management and Business.
Shannon joined the Right at Home team in August of 2013 and supports our International Master Franchisees in both enhancing their operational systems as well as expanding their national franchise network. Shannon comes to Right at Home after spending the majority of her professional career in Clinic Management and Growth and Development within a large integrated hospital and academic healthcare system. Shannon received both her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and her Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska – Omaha, where she was able to focus her academic commitment on researching and analyzing various global healthcare systems.
