map of mexico

Like its North American neighbors, Mexico is witnessing a rapid increase in the aging population, driven by longer life expectancy rates.  By 2050, the number of Mexicans 65 or older is expected to reach 28.7 million, representing around 20% of the total population.  While Mexico has a long standing history of familial support, it is estimated that one in 5 people over 65 have difficulty in engaging in normal activities such as bathing, dressing, walking, eating, etc.  Homecare companies, like Right at Home, are in a favorable position to support these vulnerable seniors and increase their independence through providing private support in these activities of daily living.
