map of france

Currently, there are 11.5 million people over the age of 65 living in France; more than the total population of Paris and this number is expected to increase to 18 million by 2050.  Fortunately, a large proportion of older people in France are covered by a pension scheme.  Still, those ageing adults living in nursing homes are paying, on average, €1,500 (US$2,207) per month per individual out of pocket expenses for care.  Sadly, this out of pocket expense is not decreasing over time.  Private services, such as those offered by Right at Home, have the ability to keep the ageing population of France in their homes and independent for a longer period of time.
