map of finland

In Finland, all inhabitants are obligated to have social insurance, in turn, social insurance mitigates the financial impact resulting from old age, work disability, sickness, unemployment and death of dependents.  Unfortunately, due to diverse medical complications and varying levels of care, benefits and needs of the population may vary by municipality.  This inconsistency has created a demand for private sector care providers, especially because private care providers are not yet serving every municipality in Finland.  As the government focuses on keeping the one million Finnish citizens over 65 independent and living in their own homes, Right at Home has the ability to fill the private care gap for the Finnish ageing population.
